Fidgets & Anxiety Relievers

These are anxiety-relieving manipulative toys with special properties that engage our need to move, touch, and feel to help reduce anxiety and restlessness. Some hand and finger anxiety relievers have interesting textures. Some move in interesting ways, and some make unique patterns or sounds. Some do all three.

For fingers used to keeping busy, anxiety relieving toys are a great alternative to tissue-tearing and other restless behavior that provides no mental stimulation and can be destructive.

Put together a "toolbox" of inexpensive hand and finger activities for those times when restless hands need something to do.
